CorPower Ocean builds point-absorber wave energy converters whose WaveSpring phase control tunes the buoy to resonate with passing waves and detune in storms. Its 300 kW C4, a 9 metre diameter buoy, has exported to the Portuguese grid off Aguçadoura since 2023, and in July 2026 took the first DNV prototype certificate issued to a wave energy converter.
