Vipps is introducing a BankID card within its app, moving closer to becoming a complete digital wallet for Norway. The ID card is available to users aged 12 and above and can be used wherever BankID's digital identification is accepted. Many young users desire easily accessible ID, which the BankID card will provide, allowing them to also use their mobile for payments instantaneously. Vipps aims to deliver all the functions of a physical wallet, including ID.
