SIA Egg Energy is a company that produces organic fertilizers from chicken manure. It has invested more than 10 million euros to increase the production of 100% natural organic fertilizer made from chicken manure. The production volume of granulated fertilizer is expected to increase from 5,000 tons to 20,000 tons per year, which will allow it to meet some foreign demand. Currently, the company produces 4,000 to 5,000 tons of organic fertilizer granules annually, which is a small amount compared to the agricultural land available in Latvia.
