NorSAF
NorSAF is a Latvian company developing a project for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in Liepāja. The company is collaborating with Nova Pangaea Technologies to create a bioethanol production facility that will utilize wood residues available in Latvia as feedstock for SAF production. NorSAF has been managing a terminal for liquid petroleum products and chemicals in Liepāja since 2017 and is working on developing a SAF production plant using KBR's PureSAF technology, with production planned to start in 2031.
